I'm Ghislaine, the photographer and creator behind Wild by Ghislaine.

My love of wildlife began at an early age. Working as a carnivore zookeeper gave me the extraordinary opportunity to spend time around many of the animals I now photograph.

That experience allowed me to capture something beyond a beautiful photograph — the personality, character and individuality of the animal.

The photographs that I have taken are special as I had a relationship with each of the animals, so they knew me. This led me to be able to capture personal pictures where the animal felt relaxed and in some cases played up to the camera, giving you an insight into their personalities!
